A working ceramics studio in Workington where every mug, bowl and plate tells a story.
Nestled in the heart of Workington, West House Pottery is a not-for-profit studio where people with learning disabilities learn hands-on ceramic skills, from hand building to glazing. Our makers create small-batch homeware that’s both beautiful and meaningful and is available to purchase online or in our café shops.

Situated just outside Allerby near the Solway coast, Grow West is our market garden and training site where the people we support gain hands-on experience in horticulture. It’s also home to our popular veg boxes, bedding plants, and a wide range of seasonal produce that feeds our cafés and community.
